Spring is here... what should I wear?

Spring into Style

My TOP 7 picks for the season 💫

If you've been struggling to decide what will work for you this Spring then wonder no more.

1. Colour- embrace it!!

Winter is over - yippee.

Hottest colours of the season -

Pistachio, it's light and refreshing and the perfect choice for evoking a wonderful sense of nature and freshness.

Buttercup, this soft yellow is a great choice for adding a sunny and fun touch to your spring outfit.

Sky blue, this soft tranquil shade is always a winner and reminiscent of clear skies and beautiful weather.

Bubblegum pink, it's fun, playful and a great choice for adding a playful and energetic vibe to your outfit.

Terracotta, this warm and earthy colour will bring a touch of rustic charm to spring outfits.

Above all, look for and wear the colours you love and feel best in. They will make your skin glow (without makeup) and put a twinkle in your eyes.

A flat lay of images showing ways to dress for spring, including variations of Blazer, t-shirt, shirt, jeans, shoes, sunglasses, accessories all with a neutral theme and a pop of green.

The on-trend look is a relaxed boxy style blazer. These can be worn for smart casual on the weekend with jeans and a tee.

Make it work extra hard by co-ordinating it with your work pants. Gone are the days (for most) of the matchy-matchy top and bottom suit.

Don't be afraid to mix and match and have fun coming up with your own unique looks.

Wide-leg pants are flattering and feminine. They are my go-to for a relaxed and comfortable modern twist to classic tailoring.

What's not to love about the comfort factor and the bold styling? These babies will give your outfit a cool edgy feel. It's a wonderful contrast to feminine dresses and skirts.

Options include- Birkenstocks, dad-style sandals, platform and flatform. My go-to colours are tan or nude, but black, khaki or a bright pop of colour are fabulous too!

This trend is probably one of the easiest to add to your spring wardrobe. It's a wonderful alternative to jeans. A denim skirt can be styled with chunky sandals, white sneakers or heels.

There are a variety of shirt and shift denim dresses around to suit every size and budget.

My top choice for colour is the indigo, but the light blue wash and off-white are gorgeous too.

Wear with sandals, espadrilles, sneakers or flats, they are a fabulous "one and done" option for those days when it's hard to think what you should wear.

7. Matching set/co-ord

Yes, it's hard to beat a set, no thinking required. Wear the pieces together (of course) or get more bang for your buck by mixing and matching with other items.

Amp up the impact with beautifully selected jewellery. Add simple hoops, a necklace and layer a bracelet with a bangle. What could be easier?

What's on my wish list?

Those who know me well, know my love for denim and my love for a shirt dress, so anything that combines the two gets my vote.

I love the dark indigo colour which I feel looks dressier than the classic lighter blue. (Perfect for my lifestyle). I'll be styling mine with cute tan flats (for all the shopping I do), and completing the outfit with some chunky gold hoops and a delicate gold necklace.

Wishing all my lovelies a wonderful spring season.
