For both the guys and the ladies. This season's hottest jacket trend is the BOMBER.

The current style is far more refined than the 80's and 90's versions. Although those versions are also around.

Blazers have reigned supreme for quite some time. But the boxy, oversized silhouettes of recent blazers just aren't flattering on everyone.

So move over blazer and HELLO bombers 💣

So here’s what you should look for if you want to invest in a bomber.

Fit- For maximum versatility, look for a bomber that isn't too gathered around the waistband and not too oversized in the arms.

This season's style of bomber is cropped, making it ideal for petites or anyone wanting to show as much leg length as possible. The longer vertical line of seeing your legs makes you look taller and slimmer (which is what many of us want!)

Colour- to maximise wearability, select a solid neutral colour. My choice would be navy, but black, cream, khaki and chocolate would also be great.

Fabric- Bomber jackets come in a wide variety of fabrics from leather, suede, corduroy, satin and wool. If you are wanting a bomber more for everyday wear consider less formal fabrics such as wool or corduroy, If you want your bomber to elevated a pair of jeans for night time look opt for satin or suede.

How to style- Bombers look great with dresses, but are really at home with a great pair of jeans. Add your favourite tee or jumper and you are good to go.
